Good results for the girls this weekend in the first tölt competition of the year in our club Sleipnir. In the Open class Brynja was in second place, Elin in fifth place and Sara in seventh place. Katharina competed in the young adult class and got the fifth place, well done.
Elín and Frami on a shared 5 position in T2 Masters League last night, I think we can be proud with two horses from our breeding in top 10. Bergur and Goði in a shared 9 position, 7,10.
We are proud of Freyja Amble Gísladóttir, my daughter and a former team member in Gangmyllan who got the 5th place in the Gædingafimi at KS Deildin held in north Iceland last night. She rode Fannar frá Hafsteinssödum, a beautiful white horse owned by Lilja Sigurlina Pálmadottir. Fannar has smooth high movements. There were many good shows and I would not be surprised if some of those riders would show up as wild cards in the Masters League. Congratulations to you all.
Ljósálfur and Glampi know where to find the treats after training.
This picture tells more than words, Ásta Bjarnadóttir Covert looks quite satisfied after riding her new horse, Gigur frá Ketilsstöðum 5 years old, dam is Ör frá Ketilsstöðum and sire Sveinn-Hervar frá Þúfu. The gentleman on the picture is former World Champion in T2, Will Covert, spotted in his riding pants I guess for the first time in a long time and the occasion is their beautiful and talented new stallion.
Brynja did well in 4 gate last night, riding Goði frá Ketilsstöðum, dam is Vænting frá Ketilsstöðum and sire is Álffinnur frá Syðri-Gegnisshólum. Second place with the total score of 6,83/7,03.
Frami and Elín ready for the Masters League 2019.
It is quality time to attend a clinic with Júlio Borba, always something new to experience.
Beautiful winter, but it's a bit to cold. A clinic is is in process so quite busy.
Brynja Amble Gísladóttir and Sara Lundberg did a great job in the 4 gate at Suðurlandsdeildin last night, the first competition of the year. Brynja got third place in the stronger class, riding Goði frá Ketilsstöðum. Sara, very close to the finals, 8 place in the lighter class, she rode Fákur frá Ketilsstöðum. They both compete for team Ásmúli.
Sometimes it is too hard to wait for the food and good to just grab a bite.
Wonder what they are talking about, probably breeders discussion Bergur and Gunnar Arnarson the other day when Gunnar came to pick up some horses for export.
This is how our days are spent, one done and another ready, Framsýn og Rauðka frá Ketilsstöðum.
Álfadís frá Selfossi with her daughter Álfaborg frá Syðri-Gegnishólum sired by Stáli frá Kjarri.
